A guy at work just said that Bama has dropped Notre Dame and picked up
Tulane instead.
Any bunny else heard this? I didn't even know we played Notre Dame for
several more years.

Joel,
The Notre Dame series was never a done deal. There was never a signed agreement to
play. It was basically a handshake agreement, and Notre Dame had some conflicts with
their schedule. This came out a year or so ago.

The idea has been raised that instead of pom-poms at the games, we will have
something along the lines of a handkerchief to wave. UA is looking for
something like 'RTR' on the kerchiefs. Any ideas? And yes, it has to be
decent, children will have access to them too.
Just curious, but what is wrong with the shakers? What is the
reason for doing away with them?

up steam (IMO).

Okay. Guess they figure that if they change then everyone will
have to buy new fill-in-the-blank rather than bringing their
old pom poms to the games. Hey! Another way to make money to

I agree with Blobber's bitch here. The rags are a dumb idea.
If they are going to do it then put the OLD LOGO on them! Also, a small Coca-Cola log
