To tell you the trooth I have had great luck with the ESPN Gameplan on
Direct TV.
I think I only missed one of Bama's games in two years with it and the
reason I missed it was a reception problem.
Your area may be different, but as for me I will be going with it again this
year!

Usually I can string enough aluminum foil on the rabbit ear (the other got
broke off during a 'domestic disturbance') to pick up a couple of the major
networks. If the slaughter house next door is running the reception is
terrible. Must have something to do with the stun guns.

The only problem I ever had with charter was the Bama/AU basketball game
that was on PPV. Our entire area was screwed on it. The good thing though,
they didn't charge me for any movie I ordered that month, lol. The downside
was that it's nearly impossible to get a Bama network here. Ugh

Thanks to all who replied about my PPV question.

Panama City
That ain't so
A, think again. :-(( There is NO radio station that can
be picked up in Panama City that carries Bama sports. I do
get Bama news on TV because my CBS station comes from
Dothan, which is also the station that carries the coaches
show, so that's good. But since I have been in Panama City
(1986)
God knows that since Yahoo picked up the internet broadcast, it hasn't been
worth a shit. If it wasn't for my best friend and brother both being in the
MDB then I wouldn't have tickets to see the games. It's a shame when,
without a ticket, you can't get the damned game inside Alabama w/o paying
How dare they do such!

Just a little food for thought. An elephant was hung without a fair trial in

Try looking up all the radio stations on the Alabama Radio Network one by
one and see if they will allow you to listen to their station online so that
you can get the game without paying for it. It might work.
