Ok People, I need some help. Who can convert a Mac file to a PC file? I
have some art work that I need to get to my printer so that I can do some
sandblasting, but I cannot open them. It is a .art file.

Any help would be appreciated.

RE: [RollTideFan] Willie Williams is admitted to Miami!

2004-07-27 Thread SecFan
I was able to get a copy of the requirments and man they are tough.

1. He can't be arrested more than once a month. If it's a felony arrest,
it's limited to once every two months.

2. If he has more than 6 sacks in a game, then the next four
weeks he can get arrested all he wants as long as he didn't fire the gun.
O.K. to have a gun on him. Just can't fire it.

3. Must attend at least 25% of his classes. Don't want a Cane to stoop as
low as Deion Sanders.

4. Can't discharge more than one fire extinguisher nor grope more than one
female student per week.

MIAMI (AP) - Miami will admit top recruit Willie Williams, but will impose
tough conditions on the star linebacker who has a lengthy arrest record the
school was unaware of when it offered him a scholarship.

In a letter announcing the decision, university president Donna Shalala said
the school has placed the bar high for Williams, considered the top high
school linebacker by many recruiting services.

There will be academic conditions that he must meet to play football at
Miami, Shalala wrote in the letter released to the campus community
Tuesday. Additionally, he will participate in a program that we provide for
all athletes that provides mentoring, constructive counseling and monitoring
of their behavior - both on and off campus.

RE: [RollTideFan] ID required this year for penalties in SEC games

2004-06-03 Thread SecFan
Here's the way I've had this explained. Can't say if this is accurate or
not.

The punt rule is merely to prevent the punter from acting like he kicked
it, but instead to throw it straight up high in the air so that it LOOKS
like a punt ... and then having his guys run down and catch it while the
receiving team (who thinks it was a punt) is actually running AWAY from the
ball (so that it won't hit them and be a live ball).

Today while in the grocery store I spied two stacks
of chicken kabobs which
had been made by the meat market. The prices on one
stack was $8-10 per
package while the other stack was mis-labeled as pork
neck bones and priced
at $1.50-$2 per package. Do you think it would be
stealing to buy the
 mis-labeled packages?.

It would depend on whether or not there were any eggs
similarly mis-labeled in the Dairy section.

Well I believe 8-3 is pretty realistic. There is a lot of very young talent
so they are probably a year away. I am also very interested in what Bama
does this year. Never a dull moment huh?. I do believe we'll beat tennessee
(that's the most important thing anyway, at least for us).

Pardon me if I speak put of place here, but I _think_ Slef might be
making reference to the feller responsible for the cover of this years
UF media guide. He got fired and took a job at your local meat market.
 Labeling chicken kabobs.

BTW, what's your thoughts on your Crocks this year? Iz ook gonna pull
out a winning season?

   California town hires 500 goats

   The Associated Press
   7/31/2003, 7:03 a.m. CT
MILL VALLEY, Calif. (AP) -- Mill Valley's newest 500
 employees work cheap,
start early, stay late and never gripe about where their office is
  located.
That's because the employees are all goats.
Mill Valley hired the four-legged firefighters to gobble up tinder-dry
  brush
and grass on four acres at the Edgewood Reservoir.
These are working goats, said Fire Battalion Chief Greg
 Moore, lauding
  the
herd that went to work Tuesday. They are environmentally friendly.
The black, white and brown spotted goats will take 21 days to
 30 days to
  eat
the area clear of French broom, acacia, blackberry and dry
 grass that are
  a
   combustible fire hazard.
Moore, who runs the Vegetation Management Program, said
 different methods
have been used to reduce the threat of fire. The goats are
 being tried for
the first time, in part because they don't produce any air pollution.
The last two years the department did controlled burns.
I believe a prescribed burn is the least expensive and good for the
  soil,
said Moore. But in this location, the goats were the best
 alternative.
The service, provided by Living Systems Land Management of Santa Cruz,
  will
cost $4,000 to $5,000 depending on how long the goats stay
 and how much
  they
   eat.

I'd be inclined to pick a Mel Tillis tune (tonight).

Most other nights, Possum or HW Sr..

Buncha damn city boys!

Y'all ain't never heered of David Allen Coe, have ye?

Slef E.

Well he did write this classic.

Please Come To Boston

Please come to Boston for the springtime
I'm staying here with some friends and they've got lots of room
You can sell your paintings on the sidewalk
By a cafe were I hope to be working soon

Bridge:
Please come to Boston
She said No,
Baby you come home to me.

Chorus:
She said Ramblin' boy, won't ya settle down?
Boston ain't your kinda town
There ain't no gold and there ain't nobody like me
I'm the number one fan of a man from Tennessee

Please come to Denver where the snow falls
We'll move up into the mountains so high that we can't be found
Through I love you echoes down the canyon
And we'll lie awake at night 'til they come back around

Please come to L.A., we'll live forever
The California life alone is just too hard to bear
We'll live in a house that looks out over the ocean
And we'll see stars fall from the sky, livin' up on the hill.

Actually I kinda liked it.
