[Rtk-users] R: Half Fan dataset

Thank you so much for your priceless help! I will try to accommodate for the insufficient data by extending both rotations to something >180+fan angle as you suggested. I will investigate RTK code for both displaced detectors and short scan Parker weighting in other to understand how to properly

Dear Simon and RTK users, I’ve been experimenting on the generation of Half Fan CBCT images successfully from reprojections of CTs starting from Simon’s suggestions. So far I was able to reconstruct images by displacing the detector in the X direction (+ or -) and completing a single rotation.

[Rtk-users] R: HNC reader

2019-11-20 Thread gabriele.belotti.bergamo
Thanks Simon! I’m able to retrieve those codes for a start and that’s good! Currently I’m using 1.4.0 so I don’t have to fiddle around too much. How would you go for making the bzip2 dependency optional? Maybe creating an option flag in CMake and editing the reader accordingly? Gabriele Da:

Dear RTK users, There is mentions of a .hnc reader in the 1.4.0 release ( https://www.openrtk.org/RTK/news/201802_release1.4.php) but I can't find it linked in any version I tried (1.4.0 and 2.0.0/1). I think this may be a mistake so I

Dear RTK users and developers, I'm currently experimenting with FDK reconstruction and I'm struggling to find a Half-Fan projection dataset to fiddle around.. Do you know where I can find one? I've taken into consideration generating a set of DRRs from an existing phantom. Any help or advice you

[Rtk-users] Add noise to projections

2020-05-15 Thread gabriele.belotti.bergamo
Dear RTK users and developers, I'm creating a CBCT dataset from existing CTs and would like to introduce noise into the generated projections before reconstruction. Is there an RTK implementation for this feature? Or is there any software, to you knowledge, that would efficiently add this noise

[Rtk-users] R: Water Precorrection - phantom

Hi Simon, well I do already have some scans of a Catphan with an homogenous section, I will try using it directly. I don’t expect to have significantly different results wrt using water. As always, thank you for your time. Gabriele Da: Simon Rit Inviato: martedì 28 luglio 2020 00.09 A:

[Rtk-users] Water Precorrection - phantom

2020-07-27 Thread gabriele.belotti.bergamo
Dear RTK users and devs, I am planning to purchase or build a cylindrical shaped water phantom to be exploited to fit the WPC coefficients. Since the phantom may be later used in QA, I'd prefer the first option. Have you got some suggestions? Thanks in advance for your precious help, Gabriele

[Rtk-users] R: Trying to reconstruct with a 180 degrees circular projection geometry

2020-12-11 Thread gabriele.belotti.bergamo
Hi Clément, It seems likely that your geometry is not 180+fan-angle complete and therefore cannot lead to a proper reconstruction. From your attached geometry, you sweep from 0 to 178° (180-increment). My suggestion would be to try some intermediate angles, so to recreate a complete
