That IRC hour sounds like a nice idea.
There are a *lot* of tickets which are short, fix bugs, increase speed
and are waiting for reviews. If all authors are advertising their
tickets it will become a nightmare on sage-devel.
If you want your ticket reviewed, it would be better:
- looks for somebody that is likely to do
One reason for setting up the other lists such as sage-nt (for number
theory) and sage-algebra was to provide a place for such requests.
But of course those lists will never cover everything.

I personally have the exact opposite opinion about this. I wish way
*more* people would advertise what they are doing to improve sage on
Sage-devel. Rather than making sage-devel a nightmare I think it would
make sage devel even more useful and interesting.
