Apart from the extra disk of libraries that were released for SAM C, (Vision or something was it?) was there any updates to the original SAM C itself? Can we leave arguements of how cack or not cack it is, aside please? :) Anyone ever create anything half decent in it? Cheers, Gavin

I wonder if C for CP/M was so simple too? And, aren't there at least two C compilers for Sam? I think SAM-C is derived from Small-C that goes way back to Dr Dobb's Journal in the late 70's. Was the Sam version a re-write or a port? Andy

A bug in Sam C. Don't believe you :-) An older version doesn't seem to have that bug, so was suggesting other people try the older version (if they have it) if they have problems. I always had problems with kbhit(), so I stole the keypress routine from Mr Laundon's ProType... MR BEN

I was having a lod of problems compiling a menu last night that used kbhit(), it didn't work. This was dispite the fact it was just a recompilation of the slidey menu I did for fred, which obviously did work ;-) [...] i have absolutely no idea what this is about. dave
