Hi All,
We have an NT4 machine which is our PDC. I'm looking to replace this with
one of our linux servers. I joined the linux server to the domain ok.
Then I vampired all the accounts across which worked ok. I then switched
off NT PDC, made samba the master and start samba service.
Hi All,
I'm using samba 3.0.10-1 on RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.
I'm authentication to our PDC using Winbind and also mounting our home
directory share (from Windows) onto our main Linux server such that when
a user logs on to the Linux server, their Windows home directory is
mounted also.
Hello
I am new to the samba world and have problem with my samba installation
I can't use profiles for my Windows Clients (XP/2000)
Version: Samba 3.0.22-13.18 of SuSE 10.1
I use Samba with openLDAP and smbldap-tools. For these progs it looks like all
perfect (I can login from the Clients).
pituran,
Obviously we would need at least yur smb.conf to figure out what's going on...
BUT:
Do the profile dirs have the proper rights/ownership?
I use the following to make sure the directory get's created properly:
