I've got a Samba PDC configured, with authenticating off an LDAP backend.
My client is trying to set permissions through Windows, and for some reason
no matter what I try the everyone group is always showing up as having
access.
When an admin user tries to set permissions on the share
as to why? I'm guessing it has to be some
sort of user settings or group policy. I've used usrmgr.exe to specify
the domain account as a power user thinking this would give me the
ability to change the settings but still nothing.

Any reason why you don't use security=ads and kerberos so that you
get single sign on for shares with your AD users?
This way they don't need to supply user/pass to samba shares as samba
kan handles the kerberos tickets issued when they logged on to the
win box.
