phone. The problem was that the office with the problem did not have a
wins server defined. Once I updated the dhcpd.conf to publish the win

smbfs is not part of the Samba project. You should try cifs, it's from the
Samba project and doesn't suffer the same limitations as smbfs.

Shouldn't regular users be able to modify ACL's for files they have
write access to? I get the same error when I try to run the smcacl
program with Domain Admin priveleges.

Why do you have groups in your People container? Most of the time
