I have been working on this for days to no avail. I am unable to join any
machine to my domain. I think the server's machine password got corrupted
but don't know how to change it.

I think I have samba all configured properly, everything else is working
I just cant log in to a computer on the domain with any user. I am
getting the error message:

Your SIDs don't match someplace, I'd guess the computer account is from
an old domain. Try to remove the computer (revert to workgroup) and
then rejoin your domain.
This is assuming that you have been able to join computers to the domain
successfully, but I'd infer that to be the case by you

just different SID's.

I may have mis read your initial error log. Your statement is a little
vauge in your initial post, a couple of questions:
1. Can you log in with the user you are trying on any other machine?
2. Can you log in on this problem machine with any user?
You need to figure out which is the proper sid

I am having some trouble and would greatly appreciate some assistance.
