Hi,
now it works the servers were not native W2k ADs.
The Forrest was :
root= witt.local
child = de.witt.local
Both system not native w2k AD.
THE linux systems is part of witt.local
Strange was that the UPN login works for the child , de.witt.local and not
for witt.local after upgrade the root to native W2k AD it works for both.
Any Idea why this happened?
UPN authentication works only in a pure W2k or higher Directory!?

You don't need to do anything special for getent passwd u...@realm
to work (and hence user logins via pam_winbind as well.
But this is only supported in a native mode AD domain.
