· Software Engineer with strong background in developing Microsoft
windows application.

· Candidate with strong Microsoft Windows database experience and
experience in porting applications from Microsoft Windows XP to Windows 7
is preferred.

· Candidate should be initiative and take charge of his work
instead of hand holding.

· Software Engineer Educational Requirements:

I.BS/BA degree or equivalent on
the job experience Special Skills Needed

· Programming with C++, Managed C++, MFC (Microsoft Foundation
Class), SQL Server, .NET 1.1, Windows Imbedded XP/7.

· Minimum of 7 years of work related experience is required.

Openings in Roanoke, Virginia for mid-level Software Engineers.  The
Software Engineer creates, maintains and optimizes software applications
for existing systems. Supports client implementations by developing load
scripts, mapping conversion data and configuring enterprise software for
processing. A team-oriented highly-motivated professional with strong
analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Individual will work
on an implementation team during client implementations.  The balance of
the time the individual will be a key contributor to the software support
team. Support and trouble-shoot extensive set of enterprise applications.



*Responsibilities:*

   - Candidate must demonstrate strong software development skills and be
   able to communicate well with our team and clients.
   - Provide on-site support of existing *VB6, .NET,* Web-based and Oracle
   applications.
   - Review, analyze and modify current systems including unit testing and
   debugging.
   - Must meet/exceed and maintain service levels as assigned by management.
   - Must record and document all incident issues, project status and
   resolutions in a ticket tracking system.
   - Develop complex queries and reports to support user needs of the
   organization and clients.
   - Develop load scripts, map conversion data and configuring enterprise
   software for processing client processing.



*Qualifications:*

   - A minimum of 3 years software development experience.
   - The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
   Science/Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
   - Must be familiar with Agile team development methodologies and must be
   highly energetic and self-motivated.
   - Must be able to record and document all incident issues, project
   status and resolutions in a ticket tracking system.
   - Candidates with the ability to develop software using the following
   technologies will be given preference: *VB6, C#, ASP.Net, ORACLE PL/SQL
   or T-SQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/XML, JQUERY, MVC3, Crystal Reports XI, Ektron*
   - The ideal candidate must be well versed with Oracle 10G.
   - Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
   - Must have the ability to translate user business requirements into
   functional/program specifications.

Ability to work with all levels of management and exercise tact and good
interpersonal skills.
