This is a long term 2-3 year project and an in person interview is not

The candidate MUST have:  Strong JDE experience, strong Data

The Analyst will provide professional business analysis and analytical
skills to assist in the overall Master Data Management (MDM), perform
business analysis, define delimitations and Testing. He has the responsible
for creating the Requirements  Reporting Specifications for the team while

integrity initiative and works with end users to follow through with
associated action items. The Analyst helps to enforce data integrity,

assists with data modeling as necessary and works closely with Project
Management, Data Architects, Data Modelers, other analysts and ETL
Development Team to design and implement the requirements for the
Enterprise Data Warehouse. They also will be working closely with business
users to verify data requirements and access needs.

The candidate should have the following qualifications:

Databases, SQL
• Be a self starter that does not require driect supervision

The Data Analyst role will capture and document data lineage throughout the
entire solution. These activities include creating data profiles for use
during testing phases. Daily tasks include working with QA, support, and

The Data Analyst role will capture and document data lineage throughout the

documenting data lineage for the entire solution.

The Data Analyst/Modeler will analyze business requirements, perform the
necessary analysis to translate them to data requirements, develop
enterprise data models at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels;
identify and promote best practices and patterns for data modeling, and
provide oversight for data modeling methodologies and processes.



*Responsibilities include*

·Analyze and translate business requirements into data models -
including definition of logical and physical models, model enhancements, and
metadata maintenance.

·Interface with business analysts and application developers across
multiple business domains including credit and market risk management

·Create and evolve models for counterparties, financial instruments,
positions and exposures, to meet new and changing business requirements

·Perform complex data analysis and recognize patterns to help with
Data Modeling or RD projects with quick time-to-market requirements

·Manage flow of information between departments through the use of
relational databases.

·Focus on reducing process and data inefficiencies such as reducing
data redundancy within an existing system or optimizing load and query
performance.



*Technical Requirements*

·Bachelors in Computer Science or related field

·3+ years of demonstrable experience with relational database
modeling and reporting using ERWin Data Modeler/ Model Mart.

·Knowledge of reporting and ETL technologies/methods, including Data
warehouses, operational data stores, data marts, star and snow-flake schemas

·5+ years of demonstrable experience working with Databases such as
Oracle, SQL Server databases in the minimum;

·Excellent SQL skills to perform complex data analysis for data
modeling, adhoc requirements, performance tuning etc

·3+ years of demonstrable experience working on projects related to
either financial or insurance industry (Risk Management is a plus)

·Proficient in using MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio

·Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML) schema modeling is a
plus

extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a
variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is
considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of
creativity and latitude is expected.
Job Requirements:

In-Depth knowledge of Sybase 15+ Cluster Edition installation and
configuration; 8-10 years of experience
In-Depth knowledge of Sybase Replication; including installation and
configuration between two cluster sets
Solid knowledge of Sybase Database Administration under UNIX platform
Solid troubleshooting abilities during the install process (knowledge of
UNIX, Sybase License Daemon issues and Cluster Edition required)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent performance tuning skills

- preferably retail / wholesale banking experience (non FS experience will
