Actually, mailman broke last night when that problem happened. Sorry I
didn't notice. It is fixed now. I'm working on improving our alerting
for this.
I can now see the msg in the archives and a copy was delivered to my
inbox. All OK. Thanks.

Update: I wrote and deployed basic monitoring. It alerts me on mailman
based delays for public mailing list posts that
