much like Ultron in that. Even at his scheming best, he was still annoying to
me. And Keith Giffen, the writer of the mini, gave Star-Lord and his crew the

I remember that! Heroes Reborn and Heroes Return was good stuff. There was
a young girl who became Captain America's sidekick in that alternate reality.
If I remember correctly, that alternate Earth
That's Gail Simone and I believe she's still writing it. She also wrote Birds
of Prey and Secret Six.
She's a damned fine writer. She managed to turn Catman into a badass, antihero
and not a c-list punchline.

I always loved the Avengers rogues gallery. My favorite Avengers villain was
Ultron. When he murdered the entire nation of Slorenia and nearly killed the
Avengers was one of my favorite storylines. And
They aren't plasma but some sort of concussive energy. It's theorized that he
either converts sunlight into energy or his powers actually allow him to access
some sort of extra dimensional energy source.
Magneto can't directly control the beam but he's had no problem deflecting or
diverting
