Actually, I think Quinto will doa great job as Spock. My problem with the
movie, now as always, is that it's *too soon*. This is just cashing in on the
brand name, and I doubt seriously that it'll significantly contribute to the
canon in any way. In fact, I fully expect it to crack canon wide
