It's a fast way to work with 2 buffers, the last 2 used buffers. Have you tried Ctrl+Pg Up/Down ? If the buffers you want to switch between are not next to each other, close them and reopen from the recent list in the File menu. This can be done quickly with a few keystrokes. ___
