What kind of modem have you got? Is it a USB one or a Serial one?
Type ls -l /dev/modem and tell us what it says.
There's a SuSE diagnostic tool, it's call siga or something (it's in the
manual) if you could post the output of that on a website or something that
may help.

Hello All ! I bought amp; installed Suse 9.1 Personal - I've had a few
difficulties which I've inquired of one of our number about, and more or less
