Hey all...
I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Death Cab for Cutie, but I
just have to say that they are an amazing band. I haven't seen them live
yet, but I too have heard they rock. Their first full length is awesome and I
cannot wait to see them w/ Sunny D.

Hello all-
This message is to the Seattle people's who are going to the UW show. I
would like to meet some of you. I'm interested in seeing the faces of other
hard-core Sunny Day fans. If anyone is interested e-mail me privately.
Maybe we could all meet before the show and have a little
Hey all-
I won't go write a book about the show, because lots of people have already
written about it. But there are a couple of things I wanted to say. First
of all, this was my first time seeing SDRE and I was ecstatic. The show left
me shaking so hard that I thought I was having a

OK. Dude:
I found myself in New York this weekend (and lucky me, the Pot Fest was
held this weekend as well, hehe). I strolled down to a record store in
search of Sunny Day, tracked them down, and flipped thru a pretty
extensive collection.

Yo dudes...
So I just got home to Seattle from Portland because unlike John I had a motel
room and didn't have to drive home at 2 in the morning (haha).
The show was perfect for me...I feel totally the opposite of Jane. My first
time seeing them I was shaking, and could hardly breath. The
Hey y'all-
K, so the weirdest thing happened to me yesterday...I walked into Easy Street
(a cd store in my town of Kirkland,WA) and who should be standing at the
counter but William Goldsmith. No joke. I immediately turned to my friend,
who does not even listen to sdre, but knows about my
Has anyone ever heard of a band called Sunny Day Real Estate??
Just though I'd ask.

In regards to the whole DIARY VS. HIFTBSO thing
I have one thing to say...all three sdre albums are amazing, no dispute from
me therebut what about Lp2in my opinion this album is somehow on a
different plane from the others...musically and emotionally.
i'm not really sure how to
Hey all-
when sdre did 120min. back when diary came out, they were supposedly going to
be the "next big thing." remember?? i think emo has been on the brink for
years, and what does everyone think will push it into the mainstream? sure,
sdre's fanbase has grown in the past few years, but most
it is true..
as i wrote earlier sunny day left for new york on the 9th to record the new
album. i think will said the recording part of it would be done by april. i
also think the band had actually been doing demos at Will and Jeremy's place,
which is in the same town that i'm from, but don't

i absolutely adore E.E. Cummings! i never even thought about the similarities
between his poetry and Jeremy's lyrics. i think i shall have to start
comparing the two.
and you all should definently read his stuff. it is amazing.

so i'm a little late on this, but the first time i heard the mp3 i wasn't
sure what I thought, which is why i've refrained from saying anything at all.
but i was just listening to it again and i've realized something. This "new"
sunny day (and i'm talking about the band, not the song)
hahahahahahahahaha...
i've heard the album once and that review made me laugh out loud. the part
about the songwriting is especially true. what is up with the lyrics on this
thing? in the end we all are one.
