This is a test to make sure the list is still working. It's strange
that no one has posted useless crap for two days not that i'm
complaining, just making sure it's not my fault.
love ryan.
also does anyone think a cool band would envolve jeremy, damien, david
bazan, and nick barber?
i'm not trying to sound like a smartass or anything, but aren't all these
guys involed in Jeremy's solo project in one way or another??

Anybody know of, or better yet have pictures of any of the guys tattoos?
(besides the one on JE's arm). I know that Jeremy has that sun on his
left forearm, dan has that cool celtic dragon thing on his left forearm,
and a bull on his right shoulder (cause he's a taurus). i think joe has

actually, Soul Coughing toured with SDRE. i'm not sure of the dates, but
for some reason 95 comes to mind.
Jeremy also opened for SC when he was doing his solo thing.
if you've ever seen SC in concert, and heard the song casiotone nation,
they say "the 5% nation of Sunny Day Real Estate"
1.) I like and know a little shakespeare but "shakespeare sang air on air"
-what does it mean or what do you guys think it means?
no offense, (and i know there aren't any official transcriptions), but i
think that it's "sang err on err. as in "ERRor" it's kind of an old english
way to say
that guy (will's "coach") is a good friend of will's, and also his drum
tech. he tours with them everywhere. he has also toured with other
seattle bands like pearl jam, and soundgarden. i'm not sure if the guy
bringing out the guitars is significant, might be, but it doesn't come
to mind

on a related note, i got back from a bob dylan concert, and surprisingly enough,
BD's band members had strikingly similar equip. to jeremy and will. the drummer
was playing some ayotte drums (close to the same color even), and both
guitarists played through vox ac-30's. not the same guitars
yea, it's funny cause they used to be called "december's tragic drive" before
appleseed cast. they changed it cause they thought that sounded like a SDRE rip
off. the lead singer/frontman for the group actually used to be on the list. i
think his name is john.

I think that dan plays a lot more of a role in the songwriting for SDRE than you
think. Even more than jeremy. just cause he doesn't sing anymore doesn't mean he
doesn't write the songs :-)

Before jeremy dan was cheifly the singer songwriter for

I think the bigger question is: what is it in us that draws us towards them?
are there distinct similarities between the fans? i've noticed that people
that listen to complex music tend to be introverted people. is this a fact? i
don't know. i am only reflecting on
