Martin, Thank you, these instructions were just what I was looking for! I have followed your instructions and noted the disappearance of the user list page which appears just before moodle (which is a great thing), but am now stuck on the moodle login page where it requests a username/password. H

OK, now we are communicating. One meta question is: what is currently your school's networking gateway ? If you are packing serious iron, such as a Cisco router, keep using it and use the following directions. If you are using a Linksys/Netgear/D-Link box, replace it with a dual- NIC XS.
