Hi Martin,
Nothing else interesting I can think of, mostly working on cleaning up
and organizing, and rebasing of off XS Moodle.
And of course, making clean commits this time =).
Thanks,

You're right, trying to change to tinyMCE in Moodle itself by porting
relevant portions of Mauno's modifications is a large job. However,
there were some versions I came across that simply stick tinyMCE into

Hi team,
Good news!
Marcel was able to install abiword 2.6.3 from the Fedora 9 repository
and all the features of EduBlog are decently working. I've recreated
the demo student and teacher accounts and linked it to uruguay-xo-test.
I'll update the wiki with the exact links needed to go

I uploaded a couple of use cases on the wiki:

So far, things look to be working well locally and it gives a flavor of
the new simplified UI. Still need to do final testing of the Write Upload.
Comments are welcome, but please pardon

Hi Tomeu,
not sure to understand why you need to convert Write entries to html,
but abiword has good formatting capabilities and is run in headless

Hi Greg,
4 - pick what you created from the journal/file picker and upload it to
the blog.
This does not work yet. All available info made it seem like copy and

of it actually does =(. It will be at least a couple days

Let me throw out a few more questions/ideas for you. These are kind of
stretch goals so let's get the previously defined stuff done first.

to post to that.

Hi Greg,
Do the kids need to choose between different external blogs? So far,

So far I have the admin page set up in moodle and working with OU Blog.

that post to Blogger.com. I still need to add image support and the

Hi Greg,
I talked with Martin, and I think ou blog will be better for us since it
runs as an activity. This already makes it capable of having multiple
blogs for each course / teacher. It'll be easier to integrate with a
scheme like Yama had set up than the standard blog.

2 - I don't like the risk in the group edit and teacher review
