It will back up the whole Journal, but not the whole XO.

But if you are trying to publish specific files, you have Moodle
installed, and doing automagic authentication. Setup a course in
moodle, publish content there. Or yoy can publish it in the
'sitecourse' which is what controls Moodle's "homepage".

Definitely in my plan to make moodle usage (for this and more) even easier :-)

Not by default. The only way this can be achieved now is by backing  
up the XO to the XS and then retrieving the backup from the XS to  
the XO.
