Hello --
I have a JAMES v3 beta5 server running only SMTP and POP3 protocols; the
mail store is a Derby database. There are approximately 10 POP3 mail
accounts and all of them are set to delete messages from the server
immediately upon download. However, the JAMES server retains all
messages
In order to hide IP addresses for outbound mail, I configured James to remove
the Received field using this in mailetcontainer.xml:
Received
This works but I think it's triggering SPAM filters for downstream recipients.
Is there a simple way to leave the field intact but redact the IP
rovide guidance to implement such a mailet.

After a fresh install of James 3.1.0 running on Java 1.8.0_181 on CentOS 7,
james-server.log is the only log file being written to. All of the other log
files are created but stay at zero bytes. Is there any known issue with the
logging? I'm using "out-of-the-box" log4j.properties.
Thanks,

internal recipient (local domain), the BCC: recipient never receives the email.
Also, if an internal recipient is in the TO: field and an external recipient
in the BCC: field, the external recipient gets the email but
roducing it, and
