I get a 34 Open/short detected in speed control vacuum or vent solenoid
when I scan with my AutoXray gizmo.
I'm thinking this has something to do with the idle speed control. Is that
correct?

Aha! This brings back memories of a similar discussion, long ago. Shelby
Dakotas never, to my knowledge, had cruise control. This one doesn't, anyway.
I guess the Code 13 is what is illuminating the Check Engine light. I'll
check the MAP connections, tomorrow.
