'd like to upgrade this
critical library without hosing my system. Finding a set of the Mdk9.1
disks to and running the 'upgrade' installer seems like the easiest way
to do this in my opinion.

Also, does anybody have any cautionary advice to give regarding an
upgrade from MDK9.0 to MDK9.1?

What could possibly be causing these problems? I am sure I have the
boot sequence set up properly in the bios.
