[Sikuli-driver] [Question #693891]: Can I point Sikuli to look at a video feed from an Axis camera rether than the screen?
New question #693891 on Sikuli: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/693891 Hi I have used Sikuli for some for software automation tasks but now have an idea for a game I would like to put together using it. I would like if possible to get Sikuli to look not at the screen but a feed from an Axis (or other) IP camera. The idea being that I will set players a task of using objects to recreate a given scene. At the most basic level, when Sikuli detects each object has been placed in the scene it can fire off encouragement to players and when all required objects are recognised as being present and in the correct location, announce winner. Would it be possible to add a 'video feed input' option so a stream of jpg files from a camera feed act as the screen instead of the actual screen? When running in such a mode, I envision that the Sikuli interface should also not be hidden as that debug output can be seen easily. [Sikuli-driver] [Bug 1542474] [NEW] Imported Module is retaining old fuction definition
Public bug reported: An older version of an imported function definition is sometimes used after a user changes the definition of a function by removing passed in variables (ex: def appSync(X, Y) changed to appSync() . [Sikuli-driver] [Bug 1000643] [NEW] X 1.0rc3: WIN meta key not working with keyDown()
Public bug reported: I know that this issue has been reported in bugs #513312 and #836453, but my use case is a bit different as the key combination that I want to emulate cannot be achieved through type(). I am using Sikuli X 1.0rc3, on Windows 7 64bit. One of the Windows key combinations that we are trying to emulate are the: WIN key + Shift key + Left arrow key / Right arrow key combinations This achieves the effect of flicking a window from one monitor to the next in multi-monitor configurations. The problem with this combination is that it cannot be achieved with type(), hence we hoped to use keyDown() and keyUp(). Are there any plans, or any suggestions of work arounds, to achieve this sort of key combination? [Sikuli-driver] [Question #188694]: Adding Sikuli script in Task Scheduler
New question #188694 on Sikuli: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/188694 I did see few problems related to this topic, but none of them solved my problem... I'm trying to add a batch file that launches Sikuli in the task scheduler and run it. When I run the batch file by double clicking it myself, it works perfectly fine, but when it's added to the scheduler, nothing happens. From the Task Scheduler, it says the task is running, but nothing is happening. Is it because my sikuli script contains actions like click, type and etc? This is what my batch file has: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sikuli X\Sikuli-IDE.bat -r %~dp0Test.sikuli https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/166785 - is this the same issue? -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Sikuli Drivers, which is an answer contact for Sikuli. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver Post to : sikuli-driver@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Sikuli-driver] [Question #163103]: Input from data stream to GUI Textbox
New question #163103 on Sikuli: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/163103 Hello! I would like to automate the process of taking data from a variable modeler (data such as objectSpeed:100) and feed it into my simulation program that will modify the objectSpeed to 100. I do not have any APIs for the simulation program but have control over the variable modeler data. So far I have a sikuli script that opens the simulator and selects the correct window that has objectSpeed. I do not have much experience with python or sikuli. What would be a simple solution; Should I create a file with the latest information for the objectSpeed then read it and place that into the sikuli script? Question #136108 on Sikuli changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/136108 Jason Antic posted a new comment: For those curious, there's another way to get a head on your machine if you happen to run on vms like I do at work (we have 4 of them for automation)- move the vm image to a machine with a monitor on it. I'm not sure if this will work with all virtualization software, but I can tell you that I've tested it with Vmware Workstation 7 and it works great. You can minimize the vms, lock your host machine (just keep the vms from going to screen saver, etc)- Sikuli still works under these conditions. I've tested this on Linux and Windows vms. I've found this to be the most cost effective, robust and simple solution for my purposes, which is to run automation on these vms for hours overnight.

[Sikuli-driver] [Question #162676]: Is there an RPC server for Sikuli with full functionality available (or in development)?
New question #162676 on Sikuli: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/162676 I've been wanting to integrate Sikuli with my C# scripts at work, and the obvious way to do this, absent a Sikuli DLL (which I'm pretty sure doesn't exist) is to use an RPC based server to do the job- much like Selenium-RC. I'm very excited about the prospect of getting Sikuli to be usable in this manner with Selenium because it'll be able to do the things that Selenium just can't outside its javascript realm. SO.is there an implementation? If not, I'm wondering if you'd be interested in a contribution (I've already been toying around with a prototype on my home computer).
