I'm a newbie, too. What I liked about this was the electronics, yielding small
particle size via pulsed current. I did not like so much the selection of
Nalgene as the container given polycarbonate concerns. (See excerpt below).
That said, maybe the threads work for glass mason jars too.
and not cost effective.
