My brother had extreme sinus condition. He hadn't been able to smell
anything for at least 5 years, he was on 2 different prescription sinus
medications daily, plus, when allergy season would happen he'd still get a
sinus infection and have to go to the doctor to get shots for it.
He was
Some have added Iodine to that mix to keep the sinuses clear as well.
Works GREAT!

Anyone try this? Any potential safety issues? Might be a nice way to clear
out the sinuses.

I mist CS up my nose whenever needed, so i don't see why using a neti
pot would be any different. The mist has certainly cleared up chronic
sinus issues here. Léna

be mixed with Xylitol
first. I use it with a nasal spray but I don't bother with Xylitol, I
just spray it direct.

My chiropractor, who is one of 3,000 board certified internal medicine
specialists
in the US, and very highly regarded, recommends CS neti pot sinus lavage.
I just had him do a balloon sinuplasty on my sinuses and he said to
neti right away and every morning for at least a few days or any time
I'm allergic to nickel. The standard SS industry line is that SS
cookware, and other kitchen ware does not leach nickel,
but.when I tossed the SS (all that was not magnetic) I
gradually improved over a period of a few months. Letting me reduce my
antihistamine use, as I had
Right, thanks, Sol. Big subject.
I recall when I looked into it years ago, reading that SS is fine until you
burn it, scrub it, scour it. And how many of us (not including Sol) throw away
a nice saucepan that is gleaming again, that works, that we have rescued from
total loss? It's
Sol, may I check back with you what your sensitivites were before getting rid
of non-magnetic SS?
Were these, for instance, chemical sensitivities, or were you electrically
sensitive in some way?

Gee Steve thanks so much for the info. The stainless sounds much better than
plastic
but stainless as opposed to ceramic--weren't we talking some time back about
various
alloys in stainless steel?

The ceramic ones seem to get broken pretty easily and
Depends what a person is allergic to and how sensitive they are. I got
rid of all my non-magnetic SS and found my overall reactivity lessened a
lot. So I confirmed fo rmyself that SS leaches various metals into
whatever is put into it, particularly if foods/liquids are heated in it.

I'm supplying her with EIS made in a SilverGen 7 and can

If you don't trust gold, do you trust the logic of taking a $1,000 pine

using cs in her neti

Where's the best place to buy a neti pot??? And do you reommend plastic or
ceramic???
I just use straight eis, in whatever strength I have on hand, 5- 20 ppm
or so. If I have an infection, it feels fine, but if my sinus is
healthy, it burns a bit. I have heard using it mixed 50/50 with salt
water, just before use, will help with that, but I have not tried it. I
do not use a

Here's the one I have. I like it a lot. It's stainless steel and not
welded. There's silicone gaskets where the pot and spout meet. Very
well made.
