Hi Shirley, I just ordered the Can C from overseas and would like to know how
long it takes to arrive. My doctor says it works and disolves cataracts. Thanks
for the reply. :Marlene

Thanks to all who have responded to us. He has used ibuprofen but it did
not help him. Other otc's also. Naproxen did help and he used it consistently
until Celebrex. He did the complete CMO thing with the product recommended on
this list or some other by someone. It has been a long time and I don't recall
the particulars. It was from an individual person, not a company. His problem
began 5 years after a back surgery. The MD said arthritis would set in after
about 5 years and it did.  However, we had no idea it would be so crippling;
we just expected aches and pains, not constant agony. I will tell him about
the flax oil drops since we have and use Barlean's regularly. He will give it
a good try I'm sure. He has upped his cs intake to a pint or so a day and
doesn't have to be cajoled or reminded. I think he will be interested to find
out that one of the iodine docs-maybe Abraham, recommends 50 mgs. per day for 3
months for saturation, then down to 12.5 for maintainance. Since the iodine
has made a noticeable difference at a lower dose, it sounds reasonable to give
that a shot. And I am making a gallon of new cs just now--a quart or so a day
might be a good idea. What's a little blue between friends. :) But I make the
good stuff anyway. Thanks again to all. I have ordered the Can-C. It
should arrive soon and when we know something I will report.Best wishes, pj

Some things that help me would be:
1, Colloidal minerals (70+ trace minerals from mined shale, I use
Organa brand)
2. Magnesium supplements (not Oxide which is not well absorbed-
Chloride, glycinate, etc would be better)

3. Vitamins B6 and Pantothenic Acid in addition to a B-50 stress formula
4. Infrared heat lamp or ceramic heat emitter used to heat area in pain
for pain relief and also improvement in bone and cartilage interaction

5. Ovo-lacto vegetarian diet
6. Omega 3 oils like fish oils, flaxseed oil blended with cottage
cheese or drained yogurt (or perhaps it will also work blended with
beans, nutritional yeast, and garlic and onion powders), used for salad
dressing and uncooked oil uses

7. Coconut oil used for cooking
8. Time spent daily in the sun, preferably both morning and afternoon,
without eyeglasses so beneficial wavelengths are not eliminated by
glass.
9. Raw fruits eaten daily including papaya and pineapple, raw or
lightly steamed vegetables eaten daily including cabbage family
vegetables including broccoli, cauliflower, kale,
10. Minimize fried and baked foods, eliminate white or refined sugar
and grains containing gluten (non-gluten grains include buckwheat,
millet, rice, quinoa and amaranth)

I had a 9 month knee injury that healed last fall after I started the
diet part above, 5-10. I used to have my back go out frequently in
my 30's but after taking 1-3 it stopped. I'm now 62.

I have eye dryness that contributes to major discomfort so I do use eyedrops,
but I do have problems because of the preservatives in them. I am allergic to
the preservatives. Some eye drops I cannot use at all. So I would probably
not be willing to spring for these drops, as wonderful as they sound, without
knowing more about the preservatives in them. Faith G.

Yes, it is expensive, but compared to the cost of surgery on your eyes,
along with the discomfort and never knowing if a doctor will make a mistake, I
will trade the price of surgery for these drops !

Hi All, Can-C NAC Carnosine. Dr Wright says this works and disolves the
Cataracts. It takes 3-6 months to disolve them. The cost +shipping and less
discount for 6 months was $257.95 this was when ordered by the Dr Office. Link
is www.antiaging-systems.comhttp://www.antiaging-systems.com/ I am hoping
this works as I don't want to lose my eye site and don't care for the bother of
 maintaining the silicone lenses. Marlene
The site shows other anti aging products as well.

CSAgain calcium/mag ratio/ Pat?

2008-04-19 Thread Gail Naranjo

 From: Pat Lane planeproducti...@yahoo.com

 Connie,

Magnesium is better for sleeping than calcium. You
are taking way more calcium than is recommended.
This can cause calcifying of your soft tissues. You
may need to do transdermal magnesium to get an
adequate dose as oral magnesium has a laxative
 effect in larger quantities.

Pat,

Connie said she was taking 1000mg each of calcium and
magnesium. You say this is way too much calcium. How
much calcium would you suggest along with magnesium?

Thanks,

Gail

Re: CScataracts - Can-C

2008-04-19 Thread Gene Wolfe
I did Google Can-C cataracts and came up with a website that said the
active ingredient is N-acetylcarnosine. The price is $239.94 +
shipping and handling. The description sounded very much like a
product that I had used for several months to dissolve cataracts
called Brite Eyes III. This is a product put out by Life Extension
and the key ingredient is N-acetylcarnosine. This product is
available from IHerb for $25.50 for 2 vials. A 6 month supply would
be $153 + shipping and handling. I used Brite Eyes III for several
months along with taking Nattozimes but it did not solve my cataract
problem. It did dissolve my wife's cataract, however.

The product I am using now to try to dissolve my cataract is
Eyebright Formula available from
http://www.organicsolutionsstore.com/ Doc Shillington says that if
you use this solution 2 or 3 times a day it will solve the problem in
2 weeks. I have not had that result, but it does seem to have
stopped the progression of the cataract. If you order this solution,
you need to know that one of the main ingredients is cayenne pepper.
To say this product stings is an understatement, but I do know that
cayenne is a wonderful herb.

Good luck,
Gene

Thank you. I use an eye dropper to drop CS into my eyes. I am not sure that
it helps all the time with dryness. If I do not use cs for awhile it sort of
stings a bit when I begin using it again. Faith G.

Re: CSAgain calcium/mag ratio/ Pat?

2008-04-19 Thread Pat Lane
 Gail ,
1000 each calcium and magnesium is not how I read it.Here's what I saw:
Natures Bounty Coral Calcium-1000 Mg/Puritan Pride-Chelated Calcium Magnesium
Zinc-1000Mg.

Since the Puritan's Pride lists Calcium first it is probably equal to or more
than the Magnesium. Most supplements have cal/mag at 2/1 so this looked like a
total of 2000 mg calcium to 500 mg magnesium.

Anyway this looks like 4 to 1 and the old rule was 2 to 1. Now you see more
recommendations for 1 to 1 or 1 to 2. I think that the exact amount and ratio
depends on many variables such as how much dairy you consume, your vitamin d
levels, what foods you regularly take in like green veggies, whether you take
HCL with your foods, etc.

All that being said, 2000 mg calcium is way too much calcium to be taking,
especially for someone with hypothyroid/fibromyalgia symptoms.
