I am trying to adjust the height depending on the content inside of
bubble, but I don't want to load the content before it shows up.

I have created a map of our denomination's various churches with
circle markers indicating the size of each church. I would like to
improve the map in two ways:
1) Instead of marker radius being determined in pixels (default), I'd
like to create an expression that shows radius in meters or
which tool are you asking about? and is there an example online that
isn't doing what you want?

For 1, there is some expermental work in place for associating map
points with polygonal regions instead of markers: you could define a
suitable polygon for the influence of each church:

for 2 there's nothing I know of.
