are chrooting into a 64 bit environemtn and the LIBs are different. You have to boot
off a 64 bit kernel to chroot into a 64 bit environment. If you boot a 32 bit kernel
and chroot into a 64 bit file system

I have gotton my x86_64 SI server running from teh packages of 3.2.3. Here are the
things I had to go through in order to get it working correctly...
1. Download the tar file for x86_64 and place in the platforms directory (I will get
