Skim.app is excellent. I use it all the time.
I have a question about Skim's behavior when refreshing a pdf file. Under El
Capitan, when Skim.app reloads a pdf, the viewing position was preserved the
same. For example, if I was viewing the bottom of a page, the position is still
m-app-users] Skim.app jump to page top when refreshing under
Sierra

Hi,
I would like to report more on the way Skim.app (1.4.25 (99)) behaves when
refreshing (sync).
1. If Skim.app is showing a multi-page pdf and the page divider happens to be
below the middle of the view window, then refreshing preserves the position.
2. If the page divider is above
The issue appears slightly differently to me. In my case (Skim version
1.4.29 (103)), on High Sierra, the page jumps up by approximately a half of
the current view until the page divider is located exactly in the middle.
For example, if I start at the bottom of page 10, after recompiling the

You are right. This is a bug that Apple should fix. But my productivity dropped to such a miserable and unbearable level since Skim.app stopped working the way it used to after I upgraded to High Sierra (I found how much my life has relied on Skim.app), that I couldn’t but download and look into th
