I’ve noticed this behavior for a while, possibly since updating to Catalina last fall. It also occurs in Preview, so I suspect a recent version of PDFKit introduced a “feature” that identifies things it things are phone numbers and makes them clickable. Be well, Dan - Dan Hicks
