I am using suse 9.2 and interested to install slide webdav. I can't
understand how to implement it in my system.
could any one kindly help me ?
I have also seen the availability of java and tomcat in my system
through yast.

I have installed java 1.4 in suse 9.2. Now echo $JAVA_HOME shows
/usr/lib/jvm/jre
but when I enter the bin directory of slide then echo $JAVA_HOME
returns nothing.
SO I manually set the value from command line and now echo
$JAVA_HOME returns /usr/lib/jvm/jre

I have fixed all the variables problem which I had with slide-tomcat bundle.
after running startup.sh It reports like

thanks to all responders. Finally I have fixed the java related path
problem and slide is working now.

can communicate with the slide webdav.

I have tried to use konqeror with slide. I have used the webdav://
protocol built in konqeror.
I login as user john and tried to upload a file in the directory
called john under users.
But it gave error as ACL restriction. where I have logged in as john
then what is the problem to

I am looking for a webdav server. There are some which are based on
MySql for storage and I like to skip those.
As slide is not based on MySql I like to use it.
The requirement is I have a remote server. Users have no right to access
their home folders by ssh or telnet.
