OK, I'm absolutely jacked off with trying to compile a kernel.
_Every_ time I try to run make menuconfig to configure the mongrel, I
get told Piss off, you don't have ncurses installed.
Only trouble is - I do. Including the developement package.
I've even updated it to the one from SuSE 7.3
Setup RH7.2 on a box and the Xterm command line gives me a bash prompt
where when I expect/need the root prompt. How to fix?
Thanks

Hi All,
Trying to home network, have a couple of Netelligent 10/100 TX UTP PCI
cards, trying to locate suitable Linux Drivers, any suggestions have
tried Compaq but all I can see in Win stuff the Linux stuff I found
didn't appear to be for nics (SNMP the like).
Really starting to annoy me
I have a client running Domino under Linux, but in their case they are
still using the sendmail server and just using Notes to access it.
I know it isn't what you have got, but at least that arrangement works.

Hi people,
I know this isn't the Perl mailling list but I hoped that someone who knows
it well enough and has possibly done something similar to this may be able

It sounds to me like you may have some sort of automount service running.
This may be the cause of the error.
Check your which services are started at boot and try disabling any services
that automatically mount file systems.

Besides the obvious Telstra and Optus, can anyone suggest
any other cable providers. I'm hoping to get
cable at my new place and have work pay for it.
I've already looked at Telstra, and Optus looks like
the one that work wants to go with. But I want to look around a bit more.

that remote machines have).

However I don't think you can go past Optus for cable. My only gripe with
them would be a bit dodgy HTTP proxy setup, however for price and speed its
damn nice.
