On my Ubuntu 8.04, I keep getting an icon (to right of screen) to say I
should check update
When I run Update manage, it says my system is up to date but hitting
the check button yields the error messages below.
I think it means that it has look for new updates from the CD drive
which implies

If you don't mind editing text files you can go to /etc/apt and edit
sources.list by placing a hash (# shift 3) in front of the lines that
begin deb cdrom .
If you really prefer a gui go to system-administration-software sources
and untick

It is probably telling you to update to Intrepid now. There is some
security reports on firefox though.

I noticed that on my
