the console will blank till the display resets (by X starting), but the console is fine when booting from grub on a boot floppy. The boot options are EXACTLY the same. And the prob has only just appered since I installed the agp gforce 2 mx 400 (it was fine with me v3 3000). Any ideas? Regards, Karl Bowden
