I use an Edwards high vacuum pump and use 29.85 inches of vacuum (1 torr) on all my foam core wings then put 120 lbs of lead on top of the cores. I estimate the total load on the the cores to be about 2500 lbs. I've never squashed a pink foam core. Anything over 15 inches will probably do. F
