Make sure you buy reclaimed tungsten. It's a lot cheaper. I mixed up some clay tungsten by using plasticine heated to liquid state and adding tungsten until it would just press together. Forms very nicely. Also, you can use thick Ziploc bags and make any size you want by using a sealer or

Thanks for the response. Several brought up a good point saying after you mix powder w/epoxy/etc you may not gain much over lead which may be right. How about opinions on an idea I had. Get some brass tube, silver braze a brass plate(thin) on to one end, grind it down to the contour of the tube.
