If anyone would like a scanned .pdf copy of my Sagitta 900 plans (I found
that sucker!,) please email me directly and I'll send it to you. The file
will be zipped and you will have to know how to unzip a file (you'd be
suprised...) The file is about 2 mb in size.

I am offering for sale a Simply the Best 180 (about 70) Vladimir Models
glider. Included are both the standard and electric fuselage! You can
high-start in the morning and electri-glide in the afternoon.
The plane and fuses are in very good condition, having been flown very
little. I
Thanks to all those who responded. Someone found one for me and sent it to
me in a .doc file. It will work just fine. I too flew a 600 and 900 back
in the day and hope to fly another one again soon. I have a couple of 900
kits that languished in the garage for many years. The instructions
Does anyone have a building manual for this kit? I started building one,
put it aside for a while and now I can't find my building instructions. I
could probably finish it o.k. using just the plans, but would rather not?
Can anyone help me out? I'd be glad to send you money for copying and

There is also available from members of the group a software update for the

Barry Kennedy at Kennedy Composites is probably who you are looking for. He
imports and sells the full line of Graphite models. You can check out his

My winter project was a little different this year... I built a new encoder
board and synthesized transmitter board (6 meters) for an old MicroPro 8000.
It is now called a MicroStar 2000. It's a cool project for ppl with steady
hands and good eyesight. (I used magnifying glasses ;-) Most of the
I believe that was Bowling for Soup.
Also, Austin Williams was flying his Blaster in the video. He rang up a
near perfect win in HLG at the TNT contest this year with the original
Blaster that is about 2 oz heavier than what is being sold now by Kennedy
Composites. Note that he is just as
Thought I would add another possible solution to the thread. Back when I
raced rc cars, a few of us used Weller TC201 or TC202 soldering pencils
without their transformers with good results. They are fed with about 20
volts from their power supply, but seemed to work well with 12.5 volts at

Now THAT was a real Hat Sucker if I ever saw one! Can you imagine your
glider getting tangled up with that?

My most fun moment while flying had to be flying on Francis Peak this past
September during Soar Utah The adrenalin rush I got while flying my
Graphite for about an hour at whizzing fast high speed non-stop on top of a
mountain is unsurpassed in my experience. I can only imagine what it would

Tim is right, the same people keep on winning, no matter what plane they
happen to fly that weekend. When you don't have to SAL though, the Monarch
is still the king. 'Course Tim is one that seems to win no matter what he
is flying. ;-)

I own a Blaster and I'm very please with it. The speed range is very good
when changing the camber during flight. I am able to slow the plane to a
crawl and float or bug out as needed. The only time I use reflex is during
the launch.
It launches very well and is very stable without any fancy
Any suggestions for a source of paper based phenolic in the DFW area?
I would check with Laird plastics in Dallas:

or Wagner Plastics in Grand Prairie (don't have that number)

I have had three 81mg's in two Manti in two years just up and stop on me in
flight. All on the v-tail, talk about fun flying.
Haven't sent them in, although I would like to know if anyone has and what
the explanation of the failure is.

Anyone know what machine screw thread size are on the 81 MG output shaft? I
went to a local hardware store and tried a #2x56 and, if I remember
correctly a 1.6mm x .35mm. Both started but bounded up after 3/4 to a full
turn.

I have cut MANY tip's of the same size. I believe your problem was that you
had you wire clipped at 10. What current setting were you using?
I cut with the wire clipped @ 28 with the current setting slightly below
the 28 setting with no problems.

I am looking for Acad, DFX or accurate 3-view scale profile drawings of the

Thanks
