Number one killer of servo motors and gear sets is long servo arms. In all
my experience there has only been one case where more than the second hole on an
arm has been 'needed' and that's on the Pike's elevator.
It has a long belcrank in the back and a short arm won't give enough travel

molded ship in production! Approx 68ozs, pod and boom, molded stabs, full
flying similar to the Ava system.

So I am in the lifty New Zeland air yesterday, 14mins left for my LSF4 one
hour flight task, and my TX starts beeping for food.

FINALLY made it and the Sportube worked like a champ, that is the TSA Lock
Adapter seemed to do the trick. I used a bright pink marker to mark next
to the lock in big letters

I am looking for a couple of thin wing servos. I
know JR has a digital thinwing servo,cant remember the number, very much
similar to the Hitec 5125. I have heardit is the same servo, made by
the same people, but with differentelectronics. Is that true? Just wondering
because I know the 5125
Mostly I use Micro Maxx cuz they are even more durable, only unverified
accounts of a damaged gear set from DS crashes :-)

I finished up converting the Stork to a Pike/NYX xtail configuration
and flew it this weekend.
Wonderful ship and its 7037 is a sweet ffloating foil. The Xtail
allowed the balance back to where it should be and with reflex is shoots back

I picked up a Twin Star for my son (he travels like me but mostly
snowboards/BMX/mountain bikes). But the wing bolts must have dropped out in the
motel room I packed it up in.
They are pretty long and metric, so if someone knows the size and maybe a
source for plastic bolts that will
Guys don't mount the vertical inside the slotted tailboom. It will snap off
on a spin landing..immediately.
Then you will have to clean off the remaining boom from the mount area.
Slot the mount area so that it fits over the remaining unslotted part of the
boom, then you'll have to cut lose

series high point championship this past year. Its got some dings and such
but is really in pretty good shape...mostly its 'available' New Pikes are

Its not a mini its 2.6m, around 100" I guess.
Cross tail, three layers of carbon, the stabs are like steel, but

it back in, and supposedly it will not be reopened after that
