Yep... and it's gone already. Nothing to shovel, no
salt holes on cars... well, not from snow melt,
anyway. Today, it's about 62 deg, wind about 5 from
the south, and not a cloud anywhere.
All the beauty of snow in the pines but none of the
hassle!

I couldn't resist this -- its midnight Christmas Eve and I was idly looking

Guess what? Its snowing all over S.

Okay. Your going to have to explain that one. You can change the names to
protect the... ah innocent.
That one is easy. We got our first round in when the 'sprinkles' started. We
all ready had 2 tent like shelters set up with our 'feast'. Trying to outhink
Mother Nature, the CD called for a Lunch Break and we proceeded to the chow
line. About the time everyone's hands were full with plates
Here's another downside. NO MOUNTAINS. Sure it has it's place but flat land
gets tough to stomach after a while.
I pity folks who don't know real sloping. When your setup includes simply
flipping the ON switch, it's hard to imagine lugging and setting up a winch.

We schedule a "Freeze Fly" on New Years Day. A dozen
hardy soulshead out on the surface of a frozen lake launch a few sailplanes
with ahi-starts, hand launch and electric park flyers
Say it ain't so, a dozen is good enough for LSF3 contest
points!
Stop the madness of fun flying! Organize

Now I know your pulling our leg. High starts will stretch but will
