Hey
In this particular version of XSI (2013) we've experienced a strange
issue. When Photoshop runs in the background some keystrokes are stolen
by Photoshop. For example ALT+7 seven should open the Texture Editor but
nothing happens.
We are using Photoshop CS4, I am using CS6 (I have no
I've had this happen aswell, even with 2012.
So far I don't think it can be reliably reproduced.

Hey guys,
We've found another strange issue with 2013, and I try to track down it
From time to time, texture editor drops the texture, and gets really
slow.
Reopening, refreshing the editor doesn't help
The only cure is to create a new clip (on the image PPG using the New

Hi,
Many thanks for your intention to narrow the problem.
Just give us some time to investigate this problem.
If you don't hear from us by this week, could you send a reminder to this email

Many thanks.

Anyone else running Deadline and Softimage together?
I'm having a problem with LMGRD.exe apparently. The new IPv6 x64 version
that now is available from Autodesk seems to break Deadline, but if you use
the 32 bit version that ships with Deadline it breaks Softimage.
At the moment I can't seem

Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned to ADN support after they responded

Hey Ana,
I'm agreed with you about how softimage events are managed for now is not
the best way to go ...
Ideally, we should have QEvent subclasses for Softimage events and one and
unique method with the following signature
SoftimageWidget::softimageEvent(QEvent *event) to handle them (and fit
The CRef operator does not behave correctly with assigned materials and
wouldneed to be fixed. The lexicographic comparison is ok for regular objects
but not for assigned materials which is a special case.
I'm pretty sure your test case would work if materials were added with
AddMaterial.
You might try setting XSI_EMULATE_OPENGL:

Try 1.5 and go down to 1.4 if needed.

I was under the impression 2013 needed the new LMTools. If I use the one

Also, can't you install both license managers? Won't they both go into their

They did, but it appears they both default to the same port when you run
them separately. Editing the Deadline license may have fixed it. So far
everything is rendering ok.
