Unfortunately its somewhat like a virus as well. Any scene that get touched by the free student version and you just can’t get rid of the restrictions. We had tremendous issues with this over the last few years. You can get around it somewhat via render farms, but it doesn’t help if the student

BUMP: fcurve editing extreme lag

I am going to bump this one - I am now experiencing serious lag when doing numerical editing of fcurves as well as most tool functions. No problem when editing manually, ie. moving multiple keys by hand. If memory serves me right, this is fairly new behavior, so I am suspecting some stupid win upda

Just to update, I ended up doing an app for iOs and Android using Unity3D. Had to write my own chroma key shader but I am happy with the results, the shader algorithm needs a little bit more love but I am happy with a good start. It is not finished yet but progressing in the right direction at the

It's impossible to find bugs to fix in Softimage 2015 if no one is using it. We are on a limited timetable here and I would suggest everyone to use Softimage 2015 as much as they can, testing everything in it and pushing it really hard so AD can fix as many bugs as possible in the next two years. L
