Maybe some of you already know, we are trying to adapt our Spacewalk python's
code to version 3.x and in the same time save backward compatibility with
version 2.x. (we have to support Python from version 2.4). Pavel Studenik is
adapting client-side code (rhncfg at this moment) and

postpone pushing your changes that might destabilize Spacewalk 2.6 or break a
build.
Please, remember that we still build spacewalk-backend-* on RHEL 5(!), that
means all python code should be compatible

Good news, I have made a branch for a new release of Spacewalk - 2.6.
Now it's a release candidate and we are working on stabilization. You can help
with a testing/verification bugs in the nightly repo and if we find and fix
some blocker bugs, I will cherry-pick fixes into Spacewalk
