You need to specify the point to be used to index the pulse (i.e., -x
FIRST_RETURN or -x LAST_RETURN) if there is only one point for each pulse these
will produce the same results. Therefore your command should be:
> spdtranslate --if LAS --of SPD -x FIRST_RETURN -i pts2las.las

I try to convert a terrestrial lidar file .las to spd:
spdtranslate --if LAS --of SPD -i pts2las.las -o pts2las.spd
I have this error:

spdtranslate - end
LiDAR point cloud is coming from Scene
