have to try is to change my motherboard because of this crappy VIA chipset... or get an Ethernet modem/router ... :p I have two workstations, 1 FreeBSD, 1 Windows, same problem on both... same motherboards... same VIA chipset. Tried all firmwares available. I now use the most recent one. Jeremy

Anyway, I'm quite fed up with all this, and I'm going to change to motherboard+nForce2 chipset, or a better Ethernet modem/router. Hope this helps.
