Hi Fred, I used service adsl start, then, as the connection wasn't working, I did a check with check_adsl.sh. I kept the modem plugged during the whole installation process; I don't know whether this can matter. Regards, Maurizio il Mon, 07 Jun 2004 09:27:49 +0200 RUAUDEL Frédéric [EMAIL

What I would like to have, was a soft USB initializer (a software that stop and start an usb device) but I've never been able to find one under linux. /etc/init.d/hotplug restart might help. Duncan. Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL

I tried to substitute (rather blindly) firmware.bin with ZZZLP2.eni (Rev.4) and with KQD6P2.eni (Rev. 0 and 2) but the connection still doesn't work and check_adsl.sh writes the same message. Regards, Maurizio Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire :

Some VIA hubs hang when there is a babble - they have to be reset before they will do anything more... Were these problems with VIA hubs? Ciao, Duncan. Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
