It's actually not a brace. It's designed to catch on a bracket
on the firewall in case of a head on accident to prevent the bonnet
from driving backwards into the passenger compartment. Without the
bracket, you really have no reason to keep the brace.
I don't know what size battery Triumph
Hi all,
Ive got one of those questions where there is no definate answer.
I was driving home after picking up my new hard top, the car was going
well, first time Ive really pushed this unknown engine I put in late
last year. A good couple of hours on the motorway. Anyway, as I was
coming
Thanks for the info, guys. I did a bit of research on batteries, didn't
realize there were so many sizes. One wonders why so many sizes are needed.
Anyhow, my neighbor bought the existing top-post battery and I bought a
side-post battery at Autozone. It's a group 78 and sits in the box nicely.
And

James, Had a similar experience late last summer. Driving on a city street,
35 mph, heard a clunk and the car got swervy. Turned out to be a broken

Another Triumph just followed me home. That makes 3, one of which
actually runs. This one is a GT6 Mk3, built January 1973 according

faded gunmetal grey. Battery box is rusted out, passenger side
floor filled with rusty muck
Can anyone recommend a good sports exhaust system? 4-2-1 manifold etc...
Rimmer do one for #327, Canley for #325 (perhaps the same make?)
TSSC do the Bell brand (only brand I can find at the moment) - not sure
what the price is on that.
Is there anywhere else to look?

Oh yeah... forgot something.
Ceramic coating or thermal wrap? both?
Do you do the whole exhaust or just the manifold?
And I didnt mean full sports as in a racing like situation - I meant the
full system including manifold

That's what I was thinking. Thanks to all who responded.
Now I have to figure out which one to work on first, the
GT6 or the Herald. Decisions, decisions.
